> The software only functions on Internet Explorer which has not only been announced by Microsoft to be discontinued but is also one of the worst-performing web browsers currently in use (although I think the only people who still use it are doing so solely for this software). I cannot access ProMax without removing security protocols from my private server (which I refuse to do and isn't required with most cloud-based software) so I needed an extra cheap laptop just for the purposes of accessing the customer desking and prospecting features. The user interface is very outdated and can be somewhat confusing given the terminology within the system (for example, customer search is referred to as "recall" within ProMax). The training resources available are ABSOLUTELY useless and offer no meaningful information despite a basic overview of the functionality. If you can't figure out how to perform a simple task, there is NOT adequate support available on the web or in their training--you have to call customer service. The email campaign functionality almost never functions correctly. Even when connected to our email domain, most emails sent from the system end up in a contact's spam folder. Also, all mass e-mails automatically are prefixed in the subject line with "ADV:" which is a completely ridiculous function (and likely the only thing causing e-mails to bounce or end up flagged as spam. Honestly, just spend a bit more for a CRM and desking solution that isn't built to fail.
