Transforming Financial Management with Precision

Comentários: My overall experience with Sage Intacct has been nothing short of exceptional. The program has significantly streamlined our financial management processes, reducing manual effort and minimizing errors.

Vantagens:

Sage Intacct has become the backbone of our financial management operations. The program's robust accounting and reporting capabilities are outstanding. I appreciate the flexibility it offers in creating custom financial reports, providing a tailored view of our organization's financial health.

Desvantagens:

While Sage Intacct excels in financial management, enhancing the mobile app's features for on-the-go access would be beneficial. Adding more comprehensive functionalities such as invoice approvals and expense tracking on the mobile platform would improve accessibility and flexibility.

OK but not a great fit for smaller businesses and nonprofits.

Comentários: We bought the system as a solution that was able to integrate with other software we use. We continue to use the system - but partially because installing another system is so labor and cost intensive. Staying with the "devil we know" has been our course of action. My relationship manager is very supportive.

Vantagens:

It is a robust and well designed system. I has far more features than we would ever use.

Desvantagens:

Many updates actually are not helpful to us. They don't have a "less robust" option for smaller businesses. Product support is spotty, especially when it comes to API integrations. And some things are very hard to do in Sage Intacct, that were actually quite simple back in Sage Peachtree.

Best accounting software

Comentários: Love this software. For a Businessman or accounting person. I love it most easily I can maintain inventory and automate ap process. saves times and easy to use

Vantagens:

Inventory management and AP automation is one the most important thing in this software. You can easily maintain Inventory record and same time it's help in ap automation

Desvantagens:

There is no chat option available in support section. And their contact information provided over there are not much helpful.

Junk - avoid

Comentários: Horrifying junk that has not made much in improvements over the past 10 years. Waste of space.

Vantagens:

Nothing - absolutely zero. Have had nothing positive to say.

Desvantagens:

Everything - it is useless, fails on updates. Deletes itself. Corrupts its own data on critical backups. Fails at every turn.

Sage - Their best software for a while

Comentários: Veyr pleased with what i have seen so far.

Vantagens:

This is a great solution for larger businesses

Desvantagens:

Not a lot to dislike about this one, great software for me

10+ year Sage Customer

Comentários: We’ve been using Sage Intacct as our ERP for over 10 years and have greatly enjoyed the experience. As our business has grown significantly since the initial implementation, Sage Intacct has consistently remained our global financial system of choice throughout this journey.

Vantagens:

Robust multi-dimensional reporting capabilities. The reporting feature allows us to analyze financial data across various dimensions—such as departments, projects, and office locations.

Desvantagens:

Occasional challenges with Sage Intacct's integration capabilities, particularly when syncing with other systems. For instance, we had issues during synchronization between Sage Intacct and Salesforce,

Powerful Financial Management tool

Comentários: It is an excellent tool for financial management. Since it is a cloud-based app, the users can access their financial data from anywhere, facilitating remote work.

Vantagens:

It helps in the automation of repetitive tasks like invoicing, expense management & consolidations. I also like the ease of getting all the Financial reports for any data driven decisions.

Desvantagens:

Cost of the application is a bit at higher side. Also, the team who are using this app may need additional training to familiarize with the software.

Highly Recommend Sage Intacct

Comentários: Overall, I would highly recommend Sage Intacct. It is easy to use and provides us what we need to keep business moving smoothly.

Vantagens:

I like the ease of use. Everything works smoothly and it is so easy to fix an issue if something was done in error. The reconciliation function has allowed us to become much more efficient with our month end process - what used to take us roughly 5 days now takes us 1 day!

Desvantagens:

I cannot think of anything that I do not like about Sage Intacct. It really works well for our business needs.

Sage- good & bad

Comentários: Sage is ideal for business prioritizing strong accounting capabilities.

Vantagens:

It specialized solutions for every industry ie manufacturing, construction. It simplifies financial management tasks.

Desvantagens:

Pricing is high. Additional cost for add ons

Sage a Fairly Good Product

Comentários: Overall, pretty good other than not being user friendly in the start. Once you know where to find the information you are looking for, it is a good product

Vantagens:

Data storage is really good. Once you know how to find what you are looking for a good product.

Desvantagens:

Difficult to find information, not as seamless a other systems

Support tickets are not the easiest to submit.

Sage Intacct - making complicated accounting more user friendly

Comentários: Sage Intacct is a very decent system that I would recommend for the high volume client or med to large businesses. It is easy to manipulate but kind of difficult to learn all of the moving parts. It does integrate with a lot of other cloud based systems.

Vantagens:

Sage Intacct is a robust system that allows the user to manage many parts of their financials in one program.

Desvantagens:

There are almost too many parts to the system that make it difficult to teach and understand. Posted vs non-posted accounts for one makes reconciling difficult at times.

Expensive but Great for Multi-Entity Organizations

Comentários: The set-up process was a lot of work but you do get an implementation team to help with the transition and they try to make it as easy as possible. They also offer training courses to use, and have an online support community. You are generally assigned an account representative (financial professionals who have actually used Sage) to assist with anything you might need.

Vantagens:

The ability to be able to do the accounting and financials for a multi-entity organization within one system, and to have the ability to do both individual reporting as well as the reporting for the different entities combined has been a life saver. It has saved many hours of manual work we used to do.

Desvantagens:

Certain customization options are lacking, and it is a difficult program to learn how to use in the beginning (especially if you are coming from more simple online programs like QBO). It is also expensive and may not be worth the cost for a lot of organizations.

Great for Small Company.

Comentários: Grea experience - importing data when we converted was easy. Recommendation for a Consultant for complex bridging was a good experience.

Vantagens:

Ability to upload data. Used a great deal for Journal Entries and Input from Sales Software.

Desvantagens:

The approval of Payables link doesn't take Approvers to the proper Company level.

Endless reports

Comentários: I have always been a fan of Sage and continue to be.

Vantagens:

Reporting, Dashboards and statistical data. You can make a report on almost anything - setting them up however can be complex. I love being able to monitor non financial data in the statistical entries.

Desvantagens:

The Fixed Asset module is far too complex and does not manage the reducing balance method in Britain currently. This was tested various times with ourselves and the implementation team.

Still beginners but growing into Sage

Vantagens:

It will accommodate our organization for many years to come. We are able to automate processes and we are learning how to use features in Sage at a deeper level.

Desvantagens:

Our implementation was rough, but we have spoken to many who had lovely integrations and deployments! Speak up if you feel like your implementation team is just going through the motions.

Intacct - a solid quality solution

Comentários: Had a great experience implementing the product. It has been years since we've made any significant changes. When we need support, they are responsive.

Vantagens:

Ease of use. Once you learn the product it is very easy to use. Reliability: We have never experienced any downtime since we implemented the product

Desvantagens:

Budget module did not work for us. Time tracking is far more robust that what we need which makes it not worth the price. Reporting module was upgraded (definitely needed) and not happy with having to pay to upgrade to use it.

Don't understand the hype

Comentários: We bought a canned package for our industry which was supposedly pre setup out of the box. It wasn't, many of the functions are still not working such as ASC 606 Deferred Revenue. The implementation was a disaster and we are still fixing bugs so it is not working anywhere near the way it should.
The represented integrations turned out not to exist.
Also functionality which to me should just be part of the package are not and it seems when you bring it to their attention all they want to do is upsell you a support package to fix what should be integral to the package already.
Very disappointed if I had to do it over probably would have kept looking and not made the switch.
There were so many misrepresentations as to functionality and integrations it wasn't worth it.

Vantagens:

Ability to extract Data for reporting purposes

Desvantagens:

The functionality is quite frankly poor at best. The user interface in 1980's.

Vantagens:

It easily automates our finance and accounting processes. The user interface is so easy and userfriendly for us to use.

Desvantagens:

So far we can not complain of a dislike.

Great Choice for Small to Medium Business

Vantagens:

I was very pleased with the options available to integrate with other software. Being able to integrate with our CRM was very important to our day to day operations.

Desvantagens:

I felt like the cost was too high per year, but it was inline with other similar products.

Sage Intacct at Work

Vantagens:

The best thing is that Sage Intacct not only offers online accounting tools but also Business Intelligence capabilities.

Desvantagens:

To be honest Sage Intacct suits all my accounting management needs.

Comprehensive and User Friendly

Comentários: Overall, Sage Intacct is a great product which can potentially save your organization a lot of time, allowing you to focus more on analyzing the data and making better decisions. This is because it automates and simplifies several reporting and accounting tasks for you. It is also very easy to train people to use, and user friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.

Vantagens:

It's so easy to use. It is logical, user-friendly, and it does practically everything. It is definitely one of the top 3 operations/accounting/finance data management tools I have ever experienced (and I have experienced several in my career). The reports are set up for you, right out of the box, with little change needed. The reports are dynamic as well, allowing the user to decide what level of data to retrieve. Ad hoc reporting is also intuitive and easy with the interactive report builder.

Desvantagens:

Although it comes out of the box with good structure, sometimes structures can be very challenging to set up (data-flow from/to accounts, roll ups to parent accounts, etc.). But, every database/reporting software has its little caveats.

My own review of Sage Intacct

Vantagens:

- It is user friendly - The features are clearly laid down in the interface - Possibility to provide/ show detailed overviews for various tasks

Desvantagens:

It is not integrated with other software, and for that reason I wish to be able to easily and accurately verify the information that is presented (either in the approval process or the main task that needs to be performed)

Sage Intacct has great revenue recognition

Comentários: Overall Sage Intacct has been a good accounting system for our company's needs but it could be better. I still research if there is a better system for us every time an Intacct does an update that breaks one of our processes. This happens at least once a year and it takes significant amount of time to resolve.

Vantagens:

I like Sage Intacct's ability to recognize revenue and bill differently by individual contract. Billing and revenue are independent but still linked on each contract.

Desvantagens:

The support takes too long to have issue resolved. Time could be cut down by picking up the phone and calling the customer instead of back and forth in email.
