> **Vantagens**: Being financial institution in a developing country where there is a digitization boom, financial institutions have to be ready to integrate their core banking systems to other fintechs and third party payment gateways. We can develop multiple APIs and deploy those APIs in API manager that can communicate effectively with Core banking systems. This has helped us to develop direct communication of third party payment systems with our Core banking system securely and more effectively. Apart from the obvious use of API manager, API manager also provides built in analytics and reporting tool that can display the performance of each individual API deployed in API manager platform.

> **Desvantagens**: There is not enough help available regarding setting up API manager in the open internet discussion platforms. I assume developer community that have hands on experience with API manager is very scarce that is the reason why limited discussion topics are available regarding API manager in the internet. More training documentation should be made public related to APi manager.

> **Vantagens**: We have recently implemented API Manager at our bank for direct communication with third party vendor applications. This is an entire suite. Apart from the obvious platform for developing APIs, the suite has an integrated module for analytics that can illustrate various statistics pertaining to the APIs deployed.

> **Desvantagens**: Connecting a data source with API Manager is a challenge. If more documentations can be released on connecting data sources to API Manager, then a lot of business cases will become extremely convenient to implement.
