I can now see the cybersecurity status of all our user's devices based on real-time data, any time I want with just one click. > > **Desvantagens**: We are UK based so not an issue for us but compliance with other countries' regulations could be useful. > > First I used the Cyber Security Policy pre-written by CyberSmart and tailored it to fit our company which took around 5 minutes Next, I uploaded a CSV file of our user's names and email addresses which took another 2 minutes. Then I got an email from CyberSmart to install their software on my devices, I had a laptop, a PC, an iPhone, and an iPad, each one took a minute to run and it told me how to fix any issues I had, my OS and endpoint security was up-to-date and I just had to turn off autoplay and then I was compliant. This took around 1 minute per device. Next, I checked the dashboard and could see who had downloaded the software and what stage they had reached in becoming compliant, including reading our security policy and fixing any issues with their endpoint devices. Another 5 minutes. Finally, I went through the Cyber Essentials questionnaire adapting the preconfigured answers for our company, this took me around 30 minutes. After a few hours, I could see how good our cybersecurity was across the whole company, and that we were now ready to apply for our Cyber Essentials certificate and get our free insurance policy. I could now see the status of all our users based on real-time data at any time I wanted. What was particularly impressive about this, is that most of our employees were working remotely due to Covid-19. ----- ### "CyberSmart the best way to get Cyber Essentials Plus" — 5.0/5 > **Jeff** | *15 de junho de 2020* | Rede de computadores | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Vantagens**: Compared to previous Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation using Excel, Audits and a lot of time to ensure our computer estate was patched and compliment to published standards and principles. Using the Cybersmart agents on all servers and workstations quickly highlighted where our attention should be directed and when all systems were green, filling in the online questionnaire was straightforward. Once submitted to Cybersmart, it was checked for us and then submitted on our behalf safe in the knowledge it was complete. This ensured that our answers were correct and meaningful. The final step was the audit by Cybersmart IASME qualified auditor, who was friendly, informative and very thorough. > > **Desvantagens**: The only downside from the version we used was that that it was not able to patch third-party software to the latest versions, but only report on their compliance. However, this is on their road map as an additional feature. > > Having gone through this process before for both Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus proving the devices are compliant (especially for CE+) takes a lot of effort and quite often for large estates is inaccurate, so you have to run audits again. Additionally to make sure compliance is met throughout the 12 month period of certification we would run spot checks and internal audits across the estate, which is very time-consuming. Cybersmart agent once installed on all of our mobiles, workstations and servers clearly shows their compliance in near real-time.
