"I've used ICIMS for a combined total of about 5 years in two roles"
Vantagens: It is one of the lower cost solutions out there. It does have the bare minimum in terms of functionality
Desvantagens: You get what you pay for.... The most frustrating part of ICIMS is the reporting functionality. In a world where most ATS come with tons of built in reports, ICIMS does not. Navigating the reporting is a beast of a task and half the time we cannot get simple reports like process flow for a particular hiring manager, time to fill, and other key metrics. When you do find the report you need, it is hard to export on a regular basis, and you find yourself re-creating the wheel multiple times over.

"Turn the other way."
Comentários: The sales team will say yes and promise you the world...once you sign... the implementation team will drag out the process and then tell you they can't meet the go-live date promised.
Vantagens: Mid-tier ATS functionality. The basic functionality is there.. will help you get your recruiting done. You are not paying for fancy UI..
Desvantagens: Poor Customer Service. Limited customization. Cumbersome & long, drawn out implementation process.

"Not very intuitive at all."
Comentários: I have been recruiting for over 20 years and have been using Applicant Tracking Systems for approximately 15 years exclusively on the corporate side with some of the largest tech firms in the world.
Vantagens: I don't really like much about this product. The candidate production is on par with other systems. It is quicker than other systems I have used....and that's about it.
Desvantagens: It is not a user friendly product and I wonder how much they involved highly experienced. corporate recruiters in the functional design of the platform. There is a lot of wasted space and extra clicking that needs to be done. The system is not intuitive at all for a user. I have used Taleo quite a bit and found it to be much more compact in viewing candidates and their status. The search capabilities with ICMS are very hard to understand with their forms, filters, output templates, etc. I have to constantly go back to the instructions to figure out how to find jobs, particular hiring managers, etc. In addition I have had candidates on several occasions call me since they were having trouble uploading documents into the system. There are better systems or comparable systems available for less money. Each recruiter should't have to become a "super-user" in order to work in an ATS but that seems to be the case for ICMS.

"Horrible support by iCIMS represenative"
Vantagens: The training guides are helpful and the FAQ section is nice. The training guides are helpful and the FAQ section is nice.
Desvantagens: I can't get my rep to call or respond to me. I've been in my new role for over three weeks and they still have NOT set me up for training. I email and call and NO response!

"Client Account Manager"
Comentários: I wouldn't recommend this service provider to anyone. I've had 5 client representatives in less than five years. My current account manager is clueless and not committed to resolving customer issues or concerns. Additional fees are being assessed with no communication or knowledge of the customer.
Vantagens: No Pro's

"Lied about capability"
Comentários: Not the best product. Every thing you will need to do will require weeks.
Desvantagens: Everything. You can find better. If I could have done it again. Never would have gone with them. There billing cycle is quarterly which they don't tell you. Can't find it, Customer service basic. Quality of product below average. Signed a year contract. I am now stuck.

"Recruiters BEWARE! Do NOT work with Employers using iCIMS"
Comentários: This company lacks integrity, transparency and allows employers to steal candidates from recruiters.
Vantagens: It enables employers to hire and steal candidates from recruiters/head hunters as it creates a fake job post and allows recruiters to submit qualified candidates who are hired a year later so the employer does not have to pay the recruiter.
Desvantagens: This platform allows employers to post jobs to collect a pipeline of candidates so they can later steal the candidates from the headhunter or recruiter working on the job.

"It's OK"
Vantagens: It's nice that we can bulk print cover letters and additional documents now. Being able to jump profile to profile in the workflow is a nice feature.
Desvantagens: The bells and whistles are in all the wrong places. The end user interface is too complex for the occasional user. It's not intuitive enough and I end up being a helpdesk. The email templates are nice and easy to use for, sometimes too difficult for hiring managers. The inability to create a stop in the process for equity reviews is a challenge. What is the point of having a Person Profile and a Workflow Profile? Hiring Managers shouldn't be able to see to which other departments candidates have applied. The one-size fits all application doesn't really work for us. Candidates can be asked the same question about sourcing in several places and they don't like it. Many out of the box reports weren't right for us.

"You price will change considerably"
Comentários: We went with this product two years ago over Newton based on the customization of the applicant flow and reasonable price. Since then the price has inflated 750% as we had to add a "custom" document that was less cluttered meaning we had to pay to take things off a page of theirs. They approached us this year less than 30 days from renewal with a 230% price hike which I obviously do not have time to change products so I am stuck for another year. This will earn them this year, this wonderful review and then lose them the next year. Avoid this company.
Vantagens: Meets the needs as a ATS and allows to somewhat customize the applicant flow to match your organization.
Desvantagens: Expensive and they ramp the price up later once they have you committed. Customer support is rather poor and we experienced a 48 hour complete outage earlier this year. The implementation was awful. Newton's implementation was more than iCIMS but apparently you get what you pay for.

"The worst ATS I've ever used"
Comentários: iCIMS needs a MASSIVE UI update and even then, I'm not confident I could recommend it as an ATS for any team.
Vantagens: Unfortunately, I can't point out any positives of working with iCIMS. To be quite frank, I'm glad to not be using this software in my workflow.
Desvantagens: Everything :( At a former company I worked with, iCIMS was only accessible to recruiters, so we had to find ways to update hiring teams on the status of candidates in the funnel.

"Would Never Use Again"
Vantagens: iCIMS is a very robust platform with a lot of functionalities including creating all kinds of reporting
Desvantagens: iCIMS is the clunkiest, most outdated looking ATS I've used. I've worked with 4 different systems at this point in my careed and iCIMS was by far the worst. It's not easy to use, not intuitive, WAY too many steps to do simple things, and trying to create a report was a nightmare. I would not recommend.

"Sales/onboarding process is great, but it all goes downhill from there."
Comentários: I regret ever purchasing this software and have had incredibly negative interactions with their tech and sales support teams since our onboarding was complete and they received our first check. Spend your money elsewhere.
Vantagens: When we initially signed on with iCIMS just under 2 years ago, we were promised the world. Our initial onboarding team was fantastic but the quality of care and service drops significantly as your contract goes on (and the software unfortunately becomes more expensive.)
Desvantagens: The software does not integrate into anything else, meaning that in addition to the thousands of dollars our team has paid for it every month, we have needed to utilize many other platforms to achieve the same results. Also, their emails to candidates almost all get sent to spam and they are frequently 'updating' the software in ways that have caused us innumerable glitches and lost hours and their tech support team is entirely useless and sometimes downright rude.

"Not user friendly - awful UI/UX"
Comentários:
I am not having a good experience with Recruit. It just isn’t as flexible, sleek, and up to date with the other competitors in the market.
If the above were fixed, I guarantee you would keep a huge amount of market share - but we may pay whatever fee we need to get out of our contract as this is just a mess, and we - the customer - have to fix it ourselves (and that’s IF we can even fix it at all).
Vantagens: That it holds resumes and integrates well with our HRIS.
Desvantagens:
Where to start?
- Ease is Use
- UI/UX is clunky and outdated
- Scheduling is not easy for interviews
- Tasks take so much time to assign to users
- Doesn’t integrate with a lot of other systems as easily as Lever, Greenhouse, etc.
- Can’t “talk” to hiring managers in real time like competitors above
- Ranking candidates is an “add-on” feature (as are most features) while included in most ATS’
- Recruiters have to configure their own dashboards and it is extremely difficult to do as well as time-consuming.

"Good Sales pitch, not that great in followthrough"
Vantagens: I like that they are a bigger company. The product offers a lot if you have the time to learn it (I think). The site they made matched our company web site well.
Desvantagens: The site is pretty complicated and not that intuitive, so you really have to watch their videos. Talking to a real person about an issue is almost impossible. The outside vendor for posting jobs isn't that beneficial (not better prices than if you went directly to these sites to post your job) and has a lot of weird costs on top of the monthly fee.

"Gets the job done, but not much more."
Comentários: The Account Managers are frequently rotating. You will often contact your Account Manager and find out they're no longer your Account Manager as they point you to someone else for assistance. The Account Managers aren't the most responsive either.
Vantagens: The iCIMS NOW platform has all the functions you need and works well for a relatively low price point. Technical Support is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Desvantagens: They have discontinued the iCIMS NOW platform and are only offering the iCIMS Recruit platform, which has more features but at over double the cost.

"Archaeic Software for Today's Recruiting Process"
Comentários: All information in one place.
Vantagens: I liked that all information could be sent through the system, including offer paperwork, benefits, and any other attachments.
Desvantagens: Took SO long to load and our application process was very long in there, causing huge candidate fallout. Also, it was hard to understand the reporting software available to us and how to appropriately filter. Not great for field hires; more appropriate for corporate hires but still not the best.

"my organization is using icims for internal and external openings, its good system for it."
Comentários: This is product is ok, not too many features.
Vantagens: Most of the time i am using this system to use internally apply for any position. and it is a good tool for it.
Desvantagens: -after referring some for any post, we can track in icicms. we are just receiving thank you email , email should also contain detail referral ID, refereed person's email and name tool.

"Not for use in Australia"
Comentários: Does not integrate with SEEK, app doesn't work on iTunes Australia and consultants/helpdesk struggle with providing support with the time difference - would not recommend progressing if you live outside of the USA bubble.

"iCIMS Recruit"
Comentários: I spent most of my time trying to figure out how to use the software over doing my job. There are many ones out there that are much better.
Vantagens: To be completely honest, I didn't like anything about this software.
Desvantagens: I've used many kinds of software like this and this is far the most difficult one to use. It is not user friendly, it is not candidate friendly, and it does not have great customer support.

"Eh."
Vantagens: I like being able to text candidates directly over the computer- saves my thumbs and keeps me from giving out my cell phone number to as many people.
Desvantagens: Randomized phone number- candidates often call this number and then there is a lot of confusion after onboarding. Web platform leaves much to be desired... not as user friendly as I had expected. Pre-paid for a year and don't use the service at all any more.

"I find iCims to be very unwieldy and not user friendly"
Comentários:
Pros - very customizable, like being able to use job target to post jobs, like interface to LinkedIn
Cons - too many popup windows, very difficult to use on mobile platforms, information buried, need to click multiple times to get to information, reporting fields like source are difficult to find / report on, offer details is different depending on how you access it
Am currently looking for different solution

"Okay System..."
Comentários: The system is but not as robust as what my healthcare organization needs. There should be a mechanism within the system that allows you to create offer letters utilizing some of the data sources that the candidates references. I.e name, address, position to fill, compensation rate- annual vs. hourly, etc...

"Not a user friendly product"
Vantagens: If you have the ability to search it is easy to search for candidates and jobs. Nice at a glance of applicants in bin.
Desvantagens: In order to search you must give all hiring managers this ability. It also gives them the ability to see everything about your candidate/new applicant including salary offer and benefits made- not cool. Too many updates.
