"Comprehensive system but lots of clicks to get there"

Comentários: There are a lot of ATS systems out there. Look for a good one that can grow with your company. ICIMS charges for everv new technology they put out there, social media, website upgrades. They bank on you being captive since it is difficult to migrate to a new system.

Vantagens: ICIMS is a very robust system and has alot of capabilities, add-ons and overall functionality. It is highly configurable and allows you to add custom fields. There is a reporting feature that allows you to select specific report data and save the report for future. Additionally, libraries will store your requisitions, and other position information for easy reference through foldering capabilities. Tracks email communication through your outlook system, to capture both sides of the email conversation. Additionally, they have a lot of pre-recorded training and webinars to get to learn the system.

Desvantagens: They didn't have a direct feed through Indeed and our positions were picked up randomly and after several days. Additionally, requisitions are difficult to post, show up with multiple fonts (even after various attempts at editing, which is a poor representation of your company.) ICIMS is very difficult for EEO/AAP reporting. Our standard reports didn't work well for this at all. Customer service is very hit or miss, some are really great, and others don't know the system at all. Account representatives are the same way, we just left them, due to their lack of interest to help us update the system set up after 10 years of use. There are alot of custom programming required to implement changes, and they didn't implement updates with the new DOL requirements. We had to ask for the new EEO forms for VEVVRA and Disability reporting requirements.

"Great solution for a large company"

Comentários: We have been able to work with the software ok. There is a bit of a clunky feel to it sometimes especially when reporting, going through the various candidate phases /bins, etc.

Vantagens: I like that it has visuals and dashboards for various roles. The best feature is being able to login as a user to see what they see. That is fantastic!

Desvantagens: It is a bit too much and too configurable for our size company (approx 720 ees).
I don't like how the reports are really a search.
I don't like how iCIMS support doesn't work with us regarding best practices. I think that should be a main focus so that iCIMS is always researching what the best practices are so they can pass along the info to their customers.

"Very robust system"

Comentários: Overall, I would not recommend this applicant tracking system. It's very overwhelming and difficult to navigate. It's also very difficult to see where candidates are at in the process.

Vantagens: The software is very robust. There are endless amounts of reports that you can run from iCIMS and there's a lot of features within a candidate profile. I really enjoy using the Dashboard as you're able to pull so much information.

Desvantagens: This software is sometimes very overwhelming. It takes so many clicks to get to a candidate's profile and there are an overwhelming amount of features within a candidate's profile. It is also very difficult to figure out how to run reports and pull information you're wanting to see.

"Not User Friendly"

Comentários: I have not had a good experience with iCIMS Recruit. I had to teach myself how to use it, I've spent countless hours on the line with customer support trying to get the system to do normal things and it cannot be done in this system (simple scheduling, assigning onboarding tasks - I realize that's not Recruit but whatever, sourcing out of the system is a mess - I could keep going)....I thought adding Connect would be better but it's not, so I plan to get rid of this ASAP - pay the fee to get out of it and get another system. The ONE thing I can say is the customer support team is very nice and they TRY to help as best they can. But most things cannot be done - and if they can, it's never just an A-to-B fix...it's a work-around to go from A-F-D-X-R-Z-B.

Vantagens: It is a place to store candidate information.

Desvantagens: Its UI/UX is clunky, you have to configure your own dashboards (I didn't know I worked at iCIMS but, after a few days on the line with customer care, I feel like I should be getting paid), the scheduling feature is a nightmare, sourcing out of the system is a nightmare (I don't even bother), there's a "person", "candidate," and "manager" profile - ALL for the SAME individual. Why? Why can't you just have one person and they are either a candidate for a role or they're not? I've worked with so many other Applicant Tracking Systems and this was never an issue or even a "thing." Everything is "a la carte" - other ATS's such as Lever or Greenhouse are much easier to use, have built in functionalities that you'd otherwise have to pay extra for an API connector to have said functionality, and - wait for it - already have dashboards in place that make sense for most organizations - and will CUSTOMIZE IT FOR YOU - no questions asked!!

"iCIMS Review"

Comentários: iCIMS is one of the better talent platforms I have had the experience working with. Overall, it is not a bad product to use. It can be bulky and overwhelming when not provided with in depth training, but if you understand that process that has been built in the system it can be a valuable system.

Vantagens: iCIMS does a good job of organizing candidates for both recruiters and hiring managers, it provides companies with the ability to easily customize their individual hiring process. The on-boarding functionality can also be customized which provides candidates with a great first impression of a companies internal culture. Posting jobs, creating reqs, and running reports are all very user friendly in this system.

Desvantagens: One of the biggest cons we frequently have with iCIMS is when the entire system shuts down for hours at a time. This is the software they were solely use for our recruitment process and when the system is down we do not have access to candidate contact information, etc. which causes delays in the process.
iCIMS also does not fully integrate with the other systems we are using which makes some of our processes more inefficient than what we would like to see.

"Pricey Enterprise Product Lacking in Updated User Experience"

Vantagens: iCIMS is extremely customizable, down to view permissions at the field-level. I also appreciated that it offered the ability to view the system as a specific user to test said customizations. In a time where our business was growing and we did not have an established HRIS, it afforded us the ability to store data both recruiting and HR-related.

Desvantagens: Since the product is enterprise, you are going to pay out the nose for it. After conducting several detailed demos for competitors, I found that in all cases newer products offered a fresher user experience as a fraction of the cost. That is what ultimately led me to transition to JazzHR. I was disappointed to see that in over 2 years of serving as the administrator, that there were zero improvements to the look and feel of the product on either the recruiter or candidate side. The lack of innovation partnered with pricing made it easy to part ways.

"ICIMS has the capability of being fantastic but is not user friendly"

Comentários: I have hired several people through ICIMS but I find it so much easier to use Indeed.

Vantagens: I love what the potential of ICIMS is. There are so many ways of recruiting different positions, linking items together, and collecting names. The ease of emailing applicants is great and the templates are very helpful if you are in a rush.

Desvantagens: Whenever new applicants come in, it is very difficult to understand how to even open up the applicants information. I am very computer savvy and have had three training's on this and my team and I are still confused. Then there are so many steps that they need to go through. The initial accept or reject is easy but then you have to email, set up interview , etc while documenting all of this. This all seems great but for someone that has to do many other things than like just hiring the ease of use is not there.

"A good CRM with a fatal flaw"

Vantagens: I love the LinkedIn integration page built right into the candidates profile. Also the interface is laid out very nicely, and the software is intuitive and easy to use once the initial learning process is accomplished.

Desvantagens: The fatal flaw of iCIMS is the emailing. Whenever you send an email, it comes from an iCIMS email address with a long string of random numbers and letters, e.g. [email protected] This is not ok! We can't have our candidates receiving a "personal" email from an address like that. All of the other CRM and ATS systems I've looked into allow the emails to be sent either through your own server or be masked to appear that they came from your personal address. This one flaw makes iCIMS unusable for our firm.

"iCIMS is a great system if you have time to invest..."

Comentários: Easy to use and took no time at all to submit a review.

Vantagens: The system has a ton of functionality. Deep data, deep reporting. I really like the dashboard and how I was able to change it around based on my needs at that time.

Desvantagens: It's not as intuitive as other tools I have used. There are several ways to go into workflows and they don't all lead to each other necessarily. The reporting is deep - but it's not easy to create reports. Once you have things established, it's solid - but getting there is a task. You'd need a full iCIMS administrator to really use the greatness this tool provides.
It's more expensive than other tools on the market.

"Impact Sales Consulting No Longer Will Use iCims"

Vantagens: It is easy to move resumes into the database. I liked the ability to send emails and to attach relevant documentation. Job submission was also useful. Disappointing that we weren't able to customize emails with our own custom signatures. A more functional integration with email would have induced me to work within the system more completely. When I had a major complaint about billing they did respond quickly and helped resolve my issue

Desvantagens: Communication from sales and administration are quite poor. It has been both misleading and contradictory. Once the contract has been signed they seem to disappear.
Navigation through the system is made difficult and not at all intuitive. Way to much function for small users. Contact terms are also rigid.
Pages do not display full so action buttons are often out of view.

"Okay Software"

Comentários: Okay overall experience. I wouldn't suggest using unless you have a talent platform that is not working at all for your team. I can't ever seem to figure out why some hires do not populate in reports which is frustrating and can lead to missed new hires.

Vantagens: This software is nice to keep all new hires and new hire info in one place. It has a lot of detailed information that is pulled in new hire reports for the on boarding process.

Desvantagens: The reports are usually inaccurate and lacking info on some new hires. I have found that some new hires are completely not included on the reports and no one seems to know why.

"ICIMS Review"

Vantagens: What I like most about this product is the ability to customize it to our needs. Almost anything can be created and sent out as a task for new hires which is nice. There are also tons of reports that I can customize to get numbers on a variety of things.

Desvantagens: What I like least about ICIMS is the fact that they do not accomodate to re-hires for seasonal employment. It is a user friendly site unless you're dealing with re-hires. Sending out hiring packets from year to year just adds tons of clutter for both admins and the users.

"I use it as the recruiting platform for my job."

Vantagens: It is easy to add candidates and track emails.

Desvantagens: I like the vendor and customization that the client has. Here are a some of my pains. -If I go to a specific job, click workflow, click candidate, no edit contact information. I have to then click on the name for another set of tabs to open up to edit. Depending on if they are nested or not, the tabs change.
-Parsed LinkedIn resume rarely will pull the first and last name into the fields.
-If I click through the next, next, next, finish too quickly (when adding a LinkedIn profile/candidate), it gets lost in cyberspace/doesn't add.

"Over all good product- but not user friendly"

Vantagens: You can build a lot of specific reports from scratch and alter the data to suit your needs

Desvantagens: You need to have a lot of previous knowledge on how to build reports and it takes a while to build. It's not user friendly unless you have a background in data it can take a while. to get used to it.

Vantagens: Administration access to many items within the system for configurations.

Desvantagens: The lack of access to some functionality as an admin including search locks, event notifications, iFORMS, and lack of translation of modules outside of recruit.

"Features are overshadowed by lack of User Friendliness"

Comentários: As I said above, they have great ideas on how to innovate and move the HR/Recruiting sector forward. They just do not provide user friendly adminstrator functionality.

Vantagens: Its the standard in oiur company’s industry. It does the work needed and has great ideas for innovating.

Desvantagens: Not a user-friendly on the back-end for Administrators. Never try to leave them once you decide to switch, they require you sign-up in 12 month subscriptions. We had to really push hard to get it down to six months.

Comentários: Good Staffing Software as long if you have Designated IT Specialist on Staff who is able to work with Software Setup and Provide Technical Support

Vantagens: Ability to use Multiple Windows so you can do work with Multiple Candidates and Project at the Same time
Nice Dashboard that shows All Staffing activities , Clients Orders, and status at a Glance
Has most of General Recruiting needs for Direct Hires Companies and Large Employers
Can Rate Candidates from low to high

Desvantagens: Extremely Difficult to Customize, need to have IT Support

Limited Search Capabilities (Boolean is the Best Search Option)

"iCIMS is more for front-end of a larger system"

Comentários: iCIMS does not,have the feel and features of a standalone ATS but works well with resume parsing and connections.

Vantagens: iCIMS is a fairly easy to use.
Interface is practical and not complicated when it comes to navigation.
Integrates well with other HR systems

Desvantagens: Communications via email is limited in terms of template design.
Lacks features with notifications and email blasts.

Vantagens: 1. Easy to track candidates throughout the process

Desvantagens: 1. Application (iform) is difficult for candidates to complete

Vantagens: Sorting candidates in jobs and bins is simple and easy. Emailing through the system is easy as well, easy to set up and save templates. Statistics for candidates are informative

Desvantagens: Not user friendly at all. The support is zero help either, being extremely dismissive and always blaming the end user rather than escalating tickets, they close them to keep their numbers up to par. Always technical issues going on with the system. Would never use in future jobs.

"My Review"

Comentários: The products works as it should. More email or schedule integrations would be nice. Pros: Resume parsing is a nice feature but sometimes inconvenient if I only have a linkedin profile. Cons: Customer support hasn't been anything to write home around. A solution is found about 50% of the time. Most of the time I have to write an email after I fill out all the forms. Site says sorry, please email us. Not fun because my precise feedback from the forms is now gone and I need to start over in email. You can review my feedback

"iCims Recruit"

Vantagens: In general, the platform is visually appealing. Concept of reporting is easy to understand and build for analyzing data. Most features have solid foundation to accommodate market demands and innovation.

Desvantagens: Doesn't accommodate complex workflows or configurations very well. Lack of platform intelligence to automate workflows and communications. Limitations with point-in-time reporting and number of reporting criteria. Login groups vs user-based permission level.

"iCims is a good candidate database"

Vantagens: Allows to put in candidates with ease; easy to use templates, reporting not accurate and gives false data.

Desvantagens: Reporting is cumbersome and not user friendly, Candidate Searching capabilities are very limited, costly connectors prohibit you from utilizing other tools.

"Decent ATS, but could use some updating!"

Vantagens: The candidate flow in iCIMS is really good, user friendly. Very easy to review candidates, send to Hiring Managers and move them through or reject.

Desvantagens: It is a bit old school, missing some scheduling upgrades and opportunities that some of the newer ATS' have.

"iCIMS Review"

Comentários: I use the iCIMS tool frequently in my role as an account manager at a staffing company. While my company itself doesn't utilize iCIMS, one of my major clients uses the tool for all candidate submissions to job requirements. I've been using the tool for about 6 months and can say that it is not the easiest tool to use. I much prefer the tool that my company uses internally, Bullhorn.

Vantagens: I like that iCIMS allows me to make candidate profiles within the system and submit the candidate to multiple job requirements without having to re-enter any information. This has the potential to be a big time saver for companies that often submit the same candidate to multiple requisitions.

Desvantagens: The interface could definitely undergo a makeover; while functional, iCIMS is not interesting to look at whatsoever. I have also found that it can be a bit of a pain to enter information about candidates to the extent that iCIMS requires. For example, to make a candidate profile, you need to have the correct address and phone number of a candidate. While we usually have the phone number on hand, I usually have to hound people to give me their address quickly so I can submit them in a timely manner.
