No warning after 'free trial' that the account is still active. no way to export invoices. lacking integrations and key features. > > Confluent is easy to onboard. During the free trial we soon realised it wasnt suitable for us so we moved to self-hosted kafka. We tried to close the Confluent account. There is no simple way to do this in Confluent. We couldnt remove the payment details which you have to enter when signing up for the free trial. There is no easy way to contact support from within the GUI. Then today out of nowhere we get a bill for over $1000. I emailed Confluent's Global Technical Support who replied promptly that they would issue a refund but it would take several days.
