I personally do not utilize the program to its fullest potential, but what I do use the program for has saved my valuable time and helped me stay better organized. I love the incident reporting component. My staff are able to complete incident reports easily and they are more timely then on paper. Enforcing time restrictions for incident reporting is also easier. > > **Desvantagens**: There are some attributes that are not user friendly and you have to either know for sure how to access the functions as opposed to "figuring it out". Thankfully, the support line is very knowledgeable and they are able to explain how to do something quickly and easily. Assigning the learning courses can be challenging and re-assigning courses is not user friendly. > > Risk management has been more organized. I also utilize the organization functionality to perform my own credentialing. I used to have an excel document where every medical staff member had their credential expiration date listed and I had to manually keep up with this. With Medtrainer, I am able to run a report as often as I would like and the credentials that are valid, expiring, or expired will populate in an excel document. My staff love that the program can be accessed from anywhere, including their mobile device. Now that I am trying to leave he said he will get it for me. Such as the specific trainings I need for my patient population, state and federal requirements and accreditation requirements. > > **Desvantagens**: Pretty much everything. I was sold a lie. I did not find it to be user friendly. But that could have been because I was told I was getting something I was not. So when I looked for those functions to teach myself, they were not there. When I asked questions, I was met with responses like "did you watch that training video" and I sure did. Medtrainer was not helpful in any of the trainings I specifically needed for my business even though it was a cheaper option than most and sounded great during the sales pitch. When following the contract on how to cancel our services. We were locked in for one year, then after that it went month to month, we would need to provide a 30 day notice of termination of services, then Medtrainer would send you a termination of services survey. I did all of those steps, they sent me the survey, completed that, then after was met with "oh you did not read the fine print and we actually signed you into an other year actually automatically" Then was offered we can add those specific trainings you would like. I asked "The ones I was told were available to me to begin with and the templates for policies and procedures I was told that were available to me too that are not there". My business barely used Medtrainer and it did not fulfill the our need but we paid for it for one year. > > Overall experience was not worth the cheaper price, it hindered the overall point of the need, low quality customer service, poor sales tactics. Would not use again and would not recommend to others. You get what you pay for. I used to be able to run (at any time) an easy report showing me who had open coursework to complete.
