Sobre Confluence
Crie, colabore e organize o trabalho em equipe em um só lugar: una conhecimento e colaboração no Confluence.
It is a very practical and simple software, it is not necessary to invest a lot of time to learn how to use it. Its graphic interface is very friendly, it is very intuitive software.
Now I need to upload to google docs and import as google doc rather than word. The error messages sometimes are on the level of "something went wrong.

Desvantagens:

Powerful collaboration and knowledge management software that allows teams to work together
Comentários: Overall, Confluence is a robust and flexible solution for teams looking to improve collaboration and knowledge management. Its ease of use, flexibility, and powerful collaboration tools make it a great choice for teams of all sizes and industries.Confluence also offers powerful collaboration tools, such as commenting, notifications, and page restrictions. These tools allow teams to collaborate in real-time, provide feedback on each other's work, and ensure that sensitive information is protected.
Vantagens:
One of the standout features of Confluence is its flexibility. It allows teams to create and organize their own pages, as well as use a wide range of pre-built templates for specific use cases such as project management, meeting notes, and product requirements. This means that teams can tailor the software to meet their unique needs, and easily share information across the organization.Another key feature of Confluence is its integration with other popular tools such as Jira and Trello. This makes it easy to connect and share information across different teams and workflows, and ensures that everyone has access to the information they need to get their work done.
Desvantagens:
Learning curve: Confluence can have a steep learning curve for new users, particularly those who are not familiar with wiki-based software. This may require additional training and support for team members.Cost: Confluence can be expensive, particularly for larger teams or organizations. The cost can vary depending on the number of users and the specific features required.Customization limitations: While Confluence offers many customization options, I feel that they are limited in their ability to fully customize the software to meet their specific needs.

Confluence Review
Comentários: Confluence is a powerful tool that has greatly improved our ability to collaborate and share knowledge across teams. The ease of use and integration with other tools make it a valuable asset to our daily workflow.
Vantagens:
Confluence makes team collaboration seamless and efficient, allowing everyone to access important information and contribute in real-time.
Desvantagens:
While Confluence offers great flexibility, it can be a challenge to maintain a consistent navigation structure within a large organization.

Good product but a bit clunky
Comentários: Good product but could do with some usability improvements.
Vantagens:
The amount of space for content is exceptional. There are clear instructions on how to use the product. It really helped with the storage of our student guides.
Desvantagens:
It can be clunky at times and doesn't always flow as well as could be expected. Not always the most user friendly.

Great Tool for Content Organization and Management
Comentários: We have been using Confluence as a main software for content management. We use it for all our project related documentation like high level business requirements, enhancement requests, technical specs, meeting notes, project roadmaps etc. It seamlessly integrates with JIRA, which makes it such a great tool to be used by AGILE teams. Overall, Confluence is a very robust and powerful tool and it provides a central place for all your documentation.
Vantagens:
Confluence is a great tool for having all your documentation and knowledge in one place. You can create wiki pages for each topic and group these pages under 'Spaces'. Multiple team members can work on one page simultaneously. It captures a detailed audit trail on the changes made at a page level. You can have strong control on the content publishing by defining a robust review and approval process. It has a robust search functionality and it seamlessly integrates with JIRA, MS Teams and other third party tools.
Desvantagens:
One major issue with Confluence is that when multiple people are working on one page simultaneously, then you need to refresh the page in order to see the changes made by others. Also, the access control can be complex and glitchy sometimes.I would love if the user interface for Confluence is improved.

Documentation, meeting notes, and user stories are kept in Confluence
Comentários: It's convenient to have everything, including user stories and requirements, in one location for analysis. With the use of keywords and version control, any document may be found quickly and efficiently.
Vantagens:
Confluence's many features for fostering communication and teamwork are among its many strong points. If your company is past the startup phase and needs more collaborative tools than Google Drive provides (which aren't many), then I think it would be a good idea to switch to this wiki.
Desvantagens:
The most annoying thing about using Confluence is that it's easy to mess up permissions, users can publish content and then disappear, and as a result, you end up with a jumbled mass of documentation and none of the original authors are still around to clean it up.

Great for Documentation Storage
Vantagens:
Great way to collaborate on documentation.
Desvantagens:
It's not very intuitive when integrating with other apps or using rich features

Collaborate and Organise Efficiently with Confluence
Comentários: Overall, I highly recommend Confluence to any team looking to improve their collaboration, organization, and productivity. The app is easy to use, highly customisable and packed with features that make it an essential tool for any remote or distributed team.
Vantagens:
As a remote worker, I've had the pleasure of using Confluence for several months now, and it has quickly become a key part of my daily workflow. One of the things I like most about Confluence is its ability to facilitate collaboration among team members, regardless of location or time zone. The app allows us to create, share, and edit documents and knowledge bases in real-time, providing a central hub for all of our team's information.I also appreciate the app's flexibility, as it allows us to create and organize content in a variety of formats, from plain text to multimedia-rich pages with embedded videos and images. The app's intuitive editor makes it easy to add headings, lists, tables, and other formatting elements, and the powerful search functionality makes it easy to quickly locate and access any piece of information.Confluence's integration with other popular productivity tools such as Jira, Trello, and Slack is another great feature, which allows us to easily link to and reference relevant tasks, issues, and messages. Plus, the app's access controls and permissions management make it easy to control who has access to what information, providing a level of security that is crucial for our business.
Desvantagens:
One area where I think Confluence could improve is in its interface, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first. However, once you get the hang of the app's navigation and layout, it quickly becomes second nature.

Confluence, collaborate and monitor your team
Comentários: Confluence integrates with other apps, in my case I use it with Google drive, slack and Microsoft teams, it also has a community where you can ask and share feedback is useful when looking for a specific question.
Vantagens:
It is excellent for collaborating with the work team, I like that it has ready-to-use templates, I can monitor the performance of my work team and give feedback, in my company we use it for marketing and sales projects.
Desvantagens:
It is not cheap software, and when more integration is required, it becomes more expensive.

Confluence is a great portal for document sharing and knowledge management.
Comentários: Confluence is a great repository to store and retrieve content within an organization. It provides an excellent platform to collaborate, maintain shared content and work on content simultaneously. The most recent content is the one retrieved by the users for perusal.
Vantagens:
Confluence provided excellent source of content management to be shared, maintained and collaborated. The tool provides a medium for anyone to edit and share the content so that the most recent content is reflected on the page at all times. The reviewer of the content could also post comments for the owner to see and refine the content.
Desvantagens:
The software needs internet at all the time for any content to be uploaded or updated.

Best Collaboration and knowledge sharing tool
Comentários: Best content management and document collaboration tool. It has many feature secure document. We can export page in word or pdf also we can share page URL also. Through page activity option we can track change management of the page.
Vantagens:
Confluence is best document collaboration and knowledge sharing tool. It is best online collaborator word tool. Multiple people can work on same documents. We can export confluence page to PDF and word . We can also track version control and change management through confluence page. We can add restriction to page based in data sensitivity .
Desvantagens:
I haven't find any problem or issue yet.

Federico
Great product for a Small / Medium Bussiness
Comentários: My experience using Confluence is great, we stopped having several places to store the same information or share results, now we share everything in one place.
Vantagens:
Allows to have one single place for all the company's documentation, this reduces efforts and allow an easy more controlled data sharing. We have very interesting possibilities with other collaboration tools. It is very easy to use, just type, tag and share. Just like using any social network.
Desvantagens:
Even though this is a very easy to use tool, sometimes the navigation is not so easy to understand. Users cannot see edits in a document in real time like Docs in Google Drive. Lastly, some formatting options are quite basic, a little or more options would be appreciated.
Pulkit
One stop tool for documenting almost anything
Comentários: Overall, the feature is a good to have and can make life easy by providing a single stop platform for all the documentation and giving a knowledge hub.
Vantagens:
Collaboration with numerous tools already in use by our company like Asana, Slack, Miro Board, Google Sheets, etc. , Ease of use and sharing documents just by a click, and Permission handling of users.
Desvantagens:
Struggle to share snippets of code and adhering to syntax, and not having a flowchart builder feature.
Alternativas consideradas: Notion
Razões para escolher o Confluence: To incorporate a range of features that confluence offers and docs don't. Most important being integration with tools and Miro board.
Software anterior: Google Docs
Razões para mudar para o Confluence: Confluence has better integrations with other softwares and is a dedicated platform for documentation. Also, we wanted to have a platform where a Knowledge Library can be created and managed easily which confluence gave us.

Best knowledge management and wiki out there
Comentários: If you use other Atlassian products, Confluence is the perfect complement. Because exporting documents is so bad, it works best if you, your colleagues and your stakeholders/clients all exist in the same Atlassian ecosystem.
Vantagens:
Highly configurable and easy to use document templates, beautiful interface akin to using Medium, and deep integration with Jira Software and Jira Service Management are the features I find most useful. Recent changes to Templates to enable you to quickly search and preview available templates is incredibly helpful, as inline commenting while editing and being able to quickly convert anything into a Jira issue. Being able to use Confluence to defer service management requests by offering reporters the option of self serving an answer to their question/problem is a stroke of genius.
Desvantagens:
It's beyond irritating that exporting documents as a PDF is so horrendous out of the box. I also find the concept of Actions vs Jira issues confusing. I consistently find myself missing actions that have been buried in Confluence.

Best tool for Project Management in Industry
Comentários:
Confluence helped to decommission code check in tools like SVN and fileshare in organization.
Verison control feature always helps to mitigate any risk during release and build deployment activities.
It saved enough time and human efforts for data n file managments for multiple projects.
Confluence turned to be life savior for many projects in cost effctive model.
Vantagens:
Confluence is very user friendly so no need to spend time and money on employee training and learning. It is time saving tool in agile project lifecycle reducing heavy documentation and support. Better customer support compared to other vendors and softwares. Cost effective and resilient for Risk management and project planning activities.
Desvantagens:
Build deployment sometimes take time and version controlling mechanism require better practice for stability
Alternativas consideradas: Microsoft SharePoint
Razões para escolher o Confluence: Efficiency and ease of use for confluence is better than Jira. It can be integrated to different sources for data management. Easy to work within Service Now platform compatibilty with Confluence
Software anterior: JIRA Service Management
Razões para mudar para o Confluence: Easy, user friendly, cost effective and version control ability to mitigate project risk

Great documentation platform for both intranets and customer-facing hubs
Comentários: The experience I had the last 9-10 years that me and my colleagues worked with Confluence is excellent. The document editor works smoothly even from the mobile app that is offered. There are many article templates to choose from when you start creating an article, from decision making documents to marketing strategy forms and solution focused how-to pages. Confluence supports a lot of media types in the pages, so it's easy to create helpful articles with video, audio, images and many more like attention panels, embedded spreadsheets, etc. You can even embed the contents of one section of a page to another page, so that if you change that it reflects the change in all the pages that the section was included. Which is great for customer support and of course technical documentation. Did I mention that you can create as many different wikis as you like? Confluence calls those "spaces" and it's a great way to keep things separated. I use different wiki spaces for my employees handbook, customer support, app manuals, design documents per project, etc. The possibilities are endless and having them separately helps with security between different roles in the company and outside of it.
Vantagens:
Confluence, especially the new cloud version, is one of the best tools to use for documenting your knowledge-base. The best parts for me are: - The ability to connect my articles with to-do tasks from project management (Jira from Atlassian, same company, so they work like a charm together). - The articles I can contain any media types, from spreadsheets that I can edit in-line to videos. There are also a lot of native panels to help anybody create very stylish articles with usability. - In-line and footer comment sections help my team discuss and develop documents all together, without losing any of the discussion history. - The ability to also keep an internal blog. I use that to inform my colleagues for the day-to-day developments, and keep everybody on track with high ideas and management efforts. - All of the above can be also used as a customer-facing knowledge-base, to serve your customers with documents, operation manuals and help articles. Very handy if you use it together with the service desk solution from the same company, but can also be used stand-alone too. In general it's one of the best choices that I made when I was searching for a documentation solution for my company and my clients, back in 2010. Almost a decade passed and Confluence is still growing better and better by the time. Atlassian the company behind Confluence is now huge and offers many solutions that integrate with Confluence, making it an even better choice if you use other tools from them.
Desvantagens:
I can't find any cons to Confluence. After all there is no perfect solution, only elegant ones depending on the problem one tries to solve. Atlassian is offering a trial period so anybody can see if Confluence is good for their company's documentation needs. From my experience, it would be bad to start a trial before you hove some really motivated people in your team and some content to put in there. Because it would be better to test Confluence with something that you would use in your company, so that you see first hand the pros and cons while your team works with Confluence with material that is close to the true material that you would put in there. If I was to change one thing it would be the way it recognizes internally any of the pages I create, so that Confluence doesn't have any issues with pages with same titles. That would be a nice time saver and space saver in the outline of any wiki one creates.
Alternativas consideradas: Microsoft SharePoint, Google Docs e Dropbox Paper
Razões para escolher o Confluence: I made the switch from Google Docs because I wanted a more robust solution that would support a more deep infrastructure and would be easy to manage and interconnect with other project management, software development and customer-facing solutions.
Software anterior: Google Docs
Razões para mudar para o Confluence: Confluence is far more advanced and fits our business model as a documentation and knowledge-base solution. The price is right and Atlassian seems to continuously develop new features that help us create awesome online media-rich documents for us and our clients.

Bells and Whistles but just Noise
Vantagens:
The software has a lot of things that might be useful for businesses and nonprofits, so there was a lot to unpack and hope for with selecting it. There are many things to create when you have domain names and other branding things that you can change, so that is amazing and awesome to allow your own signature branding to shine through.
Desvantagens:
Too bad the software is so complex and complicated and somewhat confusing to utilize. They have a lot of things that might have been useful if you deal with Jira, to deal with complaints and software people, but if you are not an IT person or familiar with how these things interact with one another, then it becomes rather complex and somewhat challenging to navigate and setup for any valuable use within the nonprofit, educational group, or SMB. This product has a lot to offer if you know where to look, but in the end, it is mostly about connections to other things that seem to beef it up. Whereas actual use is not so helpful.
