NetSuite is a Great Option

Comentários: Our account rep, account manager, and implementation lead are all really pleasant to work with and communicate well. The product is working well so far, and we're looking forward to our Phase 2.

Vantagens:

So customizable that you can configure it to do just about anything. A unique product that can really be for anyone. Once live, it's fairly intuitive.

Desvantagens:

While the customization is amazing, you can get lost if you don't pay attention to the details or aren't working with someone who knows the technical nuances well when you set it up. Our implementor ([sensitive content hidden] ) helped us with this.

A leader in the industry

Comentários: Easy to learn. Good ecosystem. Easy to modify.

Vantagens:

Netsuite is developer friendly. The ecosystem is large enough to find support easily

Desvantagens:

I as a IT admin and a developer have no complaints about NetSuite. Maybe our different department members might differ on this opinion. A night mode UI would be nice.

Comentários: I guess it is ok not wow but I think it is challenging to know the system and utilize the tools available

It takes a long time for new users to learn. Some features are falling behind competitors. Very difficult to integrate with other software.

An Adequate Project Based Time Tracker with Too Many Steps

Comentários: NetSuite is a system that adequately does what you need it to and will cover your bases for project based time tracking and employee payments. But it's unnecessarily complicated and there are many hidden buttons even when working on a large screen.

Vantagens:

Once you get the hang of the system, it's fine for tracking your time and getting the employees what they need across a wide ranges of projects. The ability to track multiple projects is probably the best and only thing I like about it.

Desvantagens:

The system is NOT intuitive. There are lots of extra buttons you have to hit to make certain time tracked is registered. It feels like jumping through hoops to get to a new line. There are extra steps that feel unnecessary to just put in a timesheet.

Don't waste your time. Look at another system like Odoo. Pay one fee and get full functionality.

Comentários: My experience with NetSuite has been a nightmare, to say the least. We were sold on the promise of a fantastic, intuitive system that is completely customizable. What we got was a complicated system that requires a lot of duplication when it comes to assembly items, and poor customer service. You have to pay for every little feature you need. The only thing free is the run-around. Even though we paid for "Advanced Customer Support", I am still left with a list of 15 items that have not been resolved after paying around $10K for the Advanced Customer Support. We are in the process of switching to Odoo because it is FAR more user-friendly and when you pay for Odoo, you get ALL of the features whether you need them or not. Odoo also includes FREE technical support. Why should you have to pay for help with the product you already pay for?

Vantagens:

An in-depth system able to handle the needs of large companies with multiple locations

Overpriced. Poor customer service. It is not user-friendly for customizations.

Love Netsuite due to the number of different accounting features it contains

Sometimes due to the number of features present its difficult to find what you need, also the format of expense claim is very 'old skool'

NetSuite ERP: Revolutionizing Business Management in Real Time

Comentários: At first, I was overwhelmed by NetSuite, but now that I understand all of its functions, it's been fantastic. NetSuite functions as a central hub that links all of a company's moving components and provides users with the information and tools they need to stay ahead of the competition. NetSuite is an extremely strong tool because of its real-time data, automation, and central management capabilities.

Vantagens:

There are a lot of features in NetSuite that i like, specially its Real-Time Data Access. Everything in NetSuite updates in real time. It can instantly generate reports like profit and loss, balance sheet or cash flow statements. It makes Budgeting and forecasting so much easier with its analytics. It also helps in managing the inventory like monitoring stocks level, recorder points and location in real time. Updates the inventory automatically when new orders are fulfilled, reducing errors. It also allows us to see the interactions with a customer including purchase history, payment status and support.

Desvantagens:

NetSuite is a powerful tool but it might take some training to understand all its features and workflow, specially non-technical users. It is also little expensive compared to other ERP software.

NetSuite is very useful software for keep our financial reports safe. It has feature of customize reports also. Also It can be useful for small businesses in scaling. It's dashboard is also very user friendly. In our work we need to consolidate financial and NetSuite makes it very easy. I think it has many features so we don't need to go to other software.

I have used this software many times and I don't think that this software has any dislike.

Comentários: I am a very big fan of NetSuite and I am excited about learning how much more NetSuite can do for our business that we haven't touched on yet. It has given us more visibility into our financials and shortened our closing time each period.

Vantagens:

We like the ability to easily run financials on a project level basis and the automated features that shorten our close cycle.

Desvantagens:

The customization that needed to happen to fit NetSuite into our current work processes and the transferring of data from our QB system to NetSuite was not smooth due to going live mid-year.

Comentários: My overall experience with NetSuite so far has been quite interesting as I feel the need to know more about the application. There are functions on the platform that make a lot of the operational workload easier especially when it comes to reports. The application is dynamic and overall great to use for business operations.

Comentários: Overall, the process was good, and we received a lot of support from the NS implementation team.

Vantagens:

Once you learn the system, it's simple to use and gives you quick access at your fingertips. You can get a 360-degree view all from the same screen.

Desvantagens:

Trying to find where training is, was not easy. It was necessary to know the NS verbiage to locate sessions.

Corporate Controller

Comentários: I love working with NS, I think it's very user friendly, reporting is super flex and the ability to see consolidated reports at all times is incredible. The only things I think require improvement are the fixed assets repots and the billing schedules.

Vantagens:

1. The option to see the reports on a consolidated level 2. Reporting and the option to customize report is amazing 3. Search line 4. The ability to edit transitions 5. Advanced IC JEs

Desvantagens:

1. Billing schedules are very challenging- for example quarterly billing for 2 years and for 1 year requires 2 different billing schedules, the system can only divide the quantity for non annual billing schedules etc. 2. No as of date vanilla report to track Inventory in transit and accrued expense related to inventory received where an invoice was not received. 3. Fixed assets module reporting- for example if an asset was sold the accumulated depreciation would show on the same column as the depreciation for the period.

NetSuite overall review

Comentários: Beet working with NetSuite for around 6 years, I enjoy the ability to adapt it to the business that the company needs

Vantagens:

The ability to customise the system and it’s scalability

Desvantagens:

Certain functions are not available, even though they seem to be basic(like downloading the list of historic exchange rates)

Netsuite for Ecommerce

Comentários: Would highly recommend, is a learning curve like any new system. definitely worth while moving too if your looking for progressive expansion

Vantagens:

Full customization to handle drop ship and on hand stock, Security systems in place. workflows to enable automation to be setup. integrations with other platforms such as Yooz

Desvantagens:

scripting knowledge is required one you get past basic customization, which if your unsure can be costly.

Oracle NetSuite for Finance Team

Vantagens:

I would like to dive straight into the pros as given below: 1- It does allow us to automate almost everything in Netsuite using Scripts and workflow. 2- Easy to set up custom fields based on your tracking requirements. 3- Tax reporting is a lot easier now and if you are in Australia now you can ANZ localization for PTRS reporting. 4- Integrate with most of the systems you for most of the accounting function such as Accounts payable, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Recs, Bank payment files, Sales and purchase orders and tax authorities. We have moved from another software which is used for small companies but since we have moved to Netsuite we are loving it and will keep on using it now.

Desvantagens:

I don't think there is anything I don't like about Netsuite as it is very user-friendly and does allow you to integrate with almost everything.

NetSuite Review

Comentários: Overall a very powerful system with endless capabilities for virtually any business vertical. Can be difficult for non-technical users to navigate. Support team is responsive and professional.

Vantagens:

Flexibility/ability to customize, tons of product offerings to solve various business problems, good support team.

Desvantagens:

Complex to troubleshoot at times, defects/enhancement requests rarely seem to be addressed in a reasonable time frame.

NetSuite - Pros & Cons

Comentários: I don't have any major issue, but if there are some updates, it must help my daily workflow. - Also, I hope if I/S details show more details as a default setting. (Journal entry memo, Journal entry descriptions, Subsidiary/Entity Name, Etc.), it must be better even though we can customize, I cannot save all account reports.

Vantagens:

You can customize reports and save the reports for future uses.

Desvantagens:

Hard to find my journal entries and there is no way to go direct to general ledger accounts (Need to open P&L, BS or CoA) I hope there is search function to accounts directly and my journal entry list.

Comentários: Overall, it has been great. It has so many features and we can customize to meet our needs.

Vantagens:

Love that it is so customizable for our organization and tailors to our platform. It integrates seamlessly with our other software.

Desvantagens:

There is a bit of a learning curve as it has extensive features.

NetSuite seems to want my business to fail rather than succeed

Comentários: The decision to move to NetSuite was difficult. It was extremely expensive for our small company (4 of us at the time), but the features were robust and we felt like it could grow with us. We were talked into additional features at added costs (Premium Support and ACS) that we have regretted purchasing (they were unable to delivery anywhere close the value promised, mostly because of bureaucratic processes that only served to waste our time). NetSuite does not care at all that we are unhappy customers. I like to think of our service providers as being part of my team -- they will help me succeed and in turn that will help them succeed. NetSuite does not care at all about whether we are successful, and instead seems only to want to squeeze every last penny out of us. At this point we have spent so much time and money on NetSuite that we are reluctant to move our business. We keep hoping that our investment will one day pay off, but are usually left cursing NetSuite rather than praising it.

Vantagens:

NetSuite has a lot of capabilities. I am confident that if we invested enough in the system, it could handle all of our needs.

Desvantagens:

NetSuite is clunky and not user friendly. It is not designed for small business, where each employee wears multiple hats. We are 7 people, and most employees have to switch between roles daily to accomplish their goals. When we reach out to NetSuite for help or suggestions, they do not treat the relationship as a service provider who wants us to grow and be successful. Instead, they try to squeeze every dollar out of us. They consistently under-deliver on time-sensitive outcomes, and try to sell us upgrades we don't need and can't afford. Our account manager is delightful, but has no authority to help us in any capacity. Every B2B transaction is extremely difficult (including us paying NetSuite). When we try to lean in on NetSuite services, we find they are unable to deliver what was promised, and are unwilling to negotiate or apologize for their own shortcomings and mistakes.

Wonderful journey with Netsuite

Comentários: Netsuite has made our organization much efficient than otherwise it would be.

Vantagens:

The flexibility provides us with every opportunity to review data in clusters, groups or standalone,also the freedom to generate reports and be 100% creative is such a huge add on.

Desvantagens:

Although I recognize it as pulling a large amount of data,there are times where it can take a substantial amount of time for certain reports to load.
