Our backup admins can get customized reports delivered to help them handle data protection recovery. Our end users have web access to diverse reporting that provides them the assurance that their server backups are up-to-date and successful. Bocada is easy to setup and run, flexible to operate and extremely customize-able. We recently tried out a competitive product from Dell EMC and quickly discovered that it was not able to keep up with Bocada's ability to be easily customized to meet our business needs. Support both pre and post sales is exceptional. Bocada as a company wants our installation to not only succeed but to excel. I have used Bocada software for 14 years now since 2004 and constantly learning new ways to customize and operate the backup reporting service for our customers. Bocada has developed a solid product that remains compatible and relevant as the years progress providing much value to our customer's installation. > > **Desvantagens**: Bocada backup reporting software is simple for our customers to use, however, initial setup and learning curve takes a good amount of time to fully understand the internal workings of the product. Custom reporting is extremely flexible and powerful, but again requires time to devote to the product. The only reason I mention this as a con is that in my experience, many managers have expected the product to work out of the box without modification or fully understanding the internals. Customizable dashboard. Customer's reports can either be separate or same as your own and different customers can create different reports without need to involve support. Their support is excellent, all the team was very helpful and supportive at any time with any situation and keen to find a solution instead of going with "it's not supported". > > **Desvantagens**: Maybe pricing structure can be tiered, and reduce price depending on amount of clients (maybe it is, not sure). The software is fast and responsive, even on a modestly specced VM. See the status of backups across any number of monitored backup servers at a glance, whilst able to drill down to any failures, allowing you to focus on those failures. Installation was quick and pretty simple. Bocada staff talked me through configuration, despite the time zone difference between to UK and western USA. Once configured, you rarely need to change any config. Changing the scope of reports is well thought out and easy to do. Report across one backup day up to any number you choose with a few simple clicks. Licensing model is easy to understand. > > **Desvantagens**: The only very minor gripe would be that during upgrades, you have to uninstall the software and do a full upgrade.
