Comentários: I began using MyCase when it was relatively young. As a result it has been easy to master each new feature as it has been introduced. Tech support is responsive and helpful when needed. MyCase continues to add features based on input and suggestions from users and there seems to be a focus on staying current and relevant to demands of law office management.

Vantagens: From the beginning, it was easy to use, and as it has evolved, it remains user friendly. It eliminates the need for a paper file. One of the best features is that clients have access to their case, documents, calendar, billing and to their attorney. The messaging function eliminates voice messages and most phone calls. Clients can leave questions at any time of day or night and will have a documented answer without telephone tag. Overall case management is significantly more efficient than paper files.

Desvantagens: The creation of Automated documents has been disappointing. The feature exists but is not as user friendly as the rest of the software. The recent integration with Dropbox is confusing as well but I suppose that may be my lack of familiarity with how it functions.

Comentários: It very nearly has everything needed to run a law firm efficiently, and alleviate stress, eliminate missed deadlines/appointments, maintain communication with clients, and get paid for work quickly. We've used it since 2012 when it was in its early stages, and there have been regular updates and new features added to make it a strong robust system for client and case management as well as trust accounting. I highly recommended.

Vantagens: Very useful client portal. Clients can login, keep track of their case, upload documents, view documents uploaded by firm, calendar with reminders, make payments, and securely message the firm. Ease of use, very modern simple interface. Flat fees per user. Management of cases, custom fields, reports, and case status information easily updated and available. Free e-check payments from clients. Calendar function for firm to manage cases, and deadlines. Tasks to keep track of

Desvantagens: Reporting on all cases is not quite there yet, but it has been recently updated. Needs to allow firm to save different reports based on specified data. At the moment specific reports based on specific data cannot be saved, must be input each time you run a case report.

Vantagens: It has streamlined communication between the office and clients. Our clients love the ease of accessing messaging, documents and calendaring. It has made practice and managing our clients and information so much easier. The customer service is exceptional. We do not hesitate to point out changes that we would like to see (either something that does not work or a feature that we would like to see added). It is clear that they are listening because it is not uncommon for us to see some of our feedback result in some change down the line. I cannot say enough positive things about the program.

Desvantagens: I really have nothing to add here. Any time we have an issue with the program or there is something that does not function appropriately, we reach out to customer service and they are quick to help walk us through a solution or we see the solution come in an update at some point down the road.

Comentários: Before MyCase, my solo practitioner law practice was trying to keep organized with paper files and a stand alone billing module.

Vantagens: Very easy to add clients and cases. Basically, all information regarding a client is housed in one place. We have never had the software be non-accessible and I have pretty good feedback from my clients.
Also, the trial for this software was no stings attached - they didn't even take my credit card information. After using this for a weekend I decided that I couldn't practice without it.

Desvantagens: I think the "reporting" could be a little bit stronger.

Comentários: There have been a couple of instances where I asked for a feature, and someone from MyCase contacted me to show me a prototype of the feature I was requesting. It's great to be involved in making the service better for me and for other lawyers.

Vantagens: MyCase is competitive in pricing. More importantly, they continue to listen to their customers and provide new features. It's like a little gift at least once a month, sometimes more often, when I see the "what's new" notification. They've even added features that I've specifically requested!

Desvantagens: Overall I have no real complaints. It would be nice if the contacts sync to Outlook didn't frequently overwrite the file in order to update. I have to go in and add the new files to my address book each time that happens.

Comentários: 100% positive. Great team and great people.

Vantagens: This software offers the ability to communicate with clients in a format that is organized and makes them feel more involved. For example, you submit multiple documents to your client and the client can comment revision for each document separately. Their messages are automatically categorized and added for easy access. It allows to keep the casefile and its data in one section. It has the potiental with the right tweaking to streamline cases and communication with clients easily.

Desvantagens: The ability to be more transparent with clients. I want more options for the client to have. To see billing as it happens vs invoicing at the end of the month, etc.

Comentários: We are a small office with only one lawyer and two full time staff. Most products are geared toward larger offices as clearly those firms pay more; however, we aren't set up that way. We are also in a small town and have been given the opportunity to prove we are above our competitors with how amazing we are as a team within the community and how we stand out by using MyCase. It allows us to communicate securely, see who is working on what file and be able to track time that would normally be lost in the shuffle. Very excited to finally be able to open the door to the future!

Vantagens: The billing feature is great and was the initial reason for purchasing the software; however, the client portal access has become what I like most since you can see the day and time your client logged in. Email is becoming such a thing of the past!

Desvantagens: I have yet to figure out the template feature but I know that once I am able to take this time this software will manage this office instead of this office managing the program.

Comentários: We love the app for our phones which helps with scheduling and capturing billable time when away from the office. Customer support is excellent and always receptive to suggestions for improving the software.

Vantagens: The software is easy to learn and use. Customer support is excellent.

Desvantagens: I wish the software would integrate with outlook to make capturing time spent on emails easier.

Comentários: We can now manage cases across a range of practice areas, creating and monitoring work flow, specifying steps necessary to complete specific tasks. All my messages/emails/notes/tasks/documents are well organized. I love the report functions.

Vantagens: Case Management integrated with finance, billing and secure client portals, responsive, knowledgeable support, all at a great price. Intuitive functions in well organized dashboard- remote access, secure. Time tracking software on mobile apps and desktop is invaluable.

Desvantagens: I get frustrated in the difficulty transferring documents on the mobile app from other mobile apps. Same in
Loading versions of documents from the mobile apps is impossible.

The software is very good, the technical support is better!

Comentários: Overall, I really like this product. The service is exceptional, the technicians really go above and beyond to fix the problem. Support will work to solve your issue, this is when other companies would tell you, well that is out of our scope. The support technicians, do their best to help you resolve these issues. That is real commitment to supporting a product. Two of my friends are using this now, and they report they are glad they changed to it.

Vantagens: Billing tracks well. Professional looking invoices and case tracking is very helpful. Notes, messages, etc.

Desvantagens: Getting the developers to add features that would save time, seem to be ignored. The reports are not very robust.

Vantagens: I like MyCase for how much it streamlines the process. We cut out a lot of phone calls and walk-ins by using this product. That means we can spend more time working uninterrupted. The ability to use MyCase on our phones and tablets means we can stay in touch and work while on breaks at the courthouse.

Desvantagens: I would benefit from the ability to automatically bill at a set rate for all emails and comments made on a particular case. It is tedious to have to enter those manually, but MyCase doesn’t currently offer a way to bill those with ease.

Comentários: Excellent! Keeps us calendared and organized - awesome!

Vantagens: Workflows! Being in a law firm setting, there are numerous tasks, firm procedures and statutory deadlines to keep up with. You can customize your workflows down to the tiniest details and with reminders, when needed, so nothing is ever missed!

Desvantagens: Not being able to print our workflows in full. We would like to be able to print and include them in a procedures manual for training purposes. We have contacted MyCase several times about this. Hoping this feature will be available soon!

Comentários: I find it easy to use and think it's a great way to keep a law firm organized and on top of things. Moreover, it's a great way to keep clients updated on the status of their case and easily track conversations - no more endless searches on e-mail.

Vantagens: I like how we can do everything on it: billing, messages, calendaring, adding workflows and case stages, so nothing falls down the cracks. I also like how we can post comments on specific documents.

Desvantagens: The messaging system times you out, so if writing a long message, it is best to type it somewhere else first then copy and paste to MyCase.

Comentários: Billing; workflow control; high volume of small cases kept under control

Vantagens: Extremely easy to get up and running; training was a snap; there have been very few situations we couldn't handle.

Desvantagens: Pricing gets little out of hand. For the value received, we'd like to have all our associates and staff members with access; that would run up to $400-$500 per month. We have several professionals who just need to view information, very occasionally. Each has to have a full license. Still less expensive than alternatives

Comentários: It's been a great experience using MyCase. It transformed my practice.

Vantagens: It's portability, the fact that you can access cases and documents from anywhere on your laptop or phone.

Desvantagens: Cases are not numbered. So one has to manually count the list of cases to track how many there are.
Also, the inability to run client's credit or debit cards.

Comentários: Overall, I highly recommend MyCase, as it is an all-in-one tool for Attorneys and Staff alike. MyCase keeps our firm highly organized and on the same page on a daily basis. Every chance I get, I recommend MyCase to small law firms starting up.

Vantagens: As an attorney, MyCase makes the Attorney-Client experience easier to navigate on a daily basis. Everything the client needs is at your fingertips, from billing to status updates and client communication. It is definitely convenient to have your calendar, billing, client communications, and notes all in one program.

Desvantagens: At times accessing and using the time and billing features can become difficult to understand and/or navigate through when editing invoices or adjusting billing credits, etc. Over time, and with practice, you learn to find better shortcuts that make the process smoother.

Comentários: We have a unique business model. Most of our clients are incarcerated, so they contact us through the USPS, but they often have loved ones who prefer using email. Until MyCase, the two communications channels required that we either had to use multiple systems for CRM or become programmers to modify the ones that were available. The MyCase Transition Team helped us move from our old systems and even transferred our 144,000 inmate records into MyCase for us.

Vantagens: Reliability. We were worried about moving to an online platform, but the system has been very reliable--and secure.

Desvantagens: When I first signed up, I found out it did not (at that time) have the ability to enter in Leads. I told my sales representative and within the next week, there was a Leads section added. I'm not saying that my suggestion was the reason for this, I'm just saying that they are constantly improving. I do wish that the system would allow me to store letterhead/watermarks on documents designed within MyCase, which it does not currently do.

Vantagens: The ease of use is my favorite part of this software. I can easily enter clients information and track case strategy. Also, I can collect directly from invoice through credit card, debit card or automatic check.

Desvantagens: Hard to change money that is deposited into trust after an invoice has been created. The money is more than the invoiced amount, but puts the remainder into operating account. For example, invoice is $1200 for the month and the client is required to keep $2500 in trust. They make a $3700 payment, $1200 for invoice and $2500 to trust, but the software shows the money in my operating account.

Comentários: Way easier time doing billing and keeping track of stuff.

Vantagens: Ease of creating invoices. Task management tools.

Desvantagens: I wish some things were more customizable and that there could be some integration with dropbox and or notability to help with document management also I think the way of entering dates on the mobile platform is cumbersome sometimes and they took away the ability to copy text from case name to event title field which sucks

Comentários: My overall experience with MyCase is above outstanding. If I see an issue with the software or a need that I think could be addressed the support staff would waste no time in providing support and building something. I love the continued improvements a being made which makes me feel the support team is truly listening. The beautiful dashboard is easy, sleek and allows me to get to the important information quickly.

Vantagens: What I like most about MyCase is the ease of use. I can use it though an app or if I choose through a web browser on my portable devices. Each platform offers ease of use.

Desvantagens: The only feature I wish the app platform had is the ability to see archived emails.

Vantagens: MyCase has every single detail, document, e-mail, calendar notification and information needed for your files. It is essentially a one-stop shop. Couple that with the procedural ease-of-use, and MyCase is a no brainer for any business (especially law firm, in my opinion).

Desvantagens: It runs a bit slow at times, but it's pretty nominal. May be attributed to the volume of my firm's files, however.

I've tried several case management solutions, and MyCase is the best

Comentários: MyCase has helped keep me organized with all the cases I have pending.

Vantagens: It is easy to use and when you do have a problem the support team is very responsive and will work with you until solution is found. They also seem very responsive to customer requests, and timely follow up on questions or suggestions.

Desvantagens: It lacks some features that other case management software has but since using MyCase they have consistently added features. They are open to suggestions and have actually implemented some of the suggestions I have made in the past.

Vantagens: I have limited use with myCase but what I love most is that I can access my files from any device through the cloud. This streamlines my work process and eliminates the hassle of transferring files from device to device using a disk or USB stick.
I also love the internal messaging feature, which replaces email. This makes it so easy to track communications on a file.
This cloud based service also eliminates the problem of transferring large files through email, as you simply upload them into myCase and send an internal message. Users can choose to have email alerts sent to them each time they receive a message or a new file. So, no matter what communication method you prefer, you can always stay on top of your files!

Desvantagens: At this time, I have no complaints based on my limited use of the software.

Comentários: With the prior practice management software I was using I was not able to access it on my mobile devices. I spend large parts of my day in court and I needed that capability. MyCase solved that for me.

Vantagens: The Client Portal is loved by my clients and the ease of use is great for me and my staff.

Desvantagens: I operate in Canada and the client payment feature is not yet available here.

Comentários: Easiest most efficient software on the market. If MyCase doesn't have what you need then just tell them. They will have it for you later. Love love love this software.

Vantagens: EVERYTHING!! They listen to their customers needs and are always updating things to fit the needs of the users.

Desvantagens: I wish I could click on a phone number from my phone and it call a client.
