Fantastic product with lots of additions

Comentários: Overall Birdview is nice, a lot comes down to how your organization has it set up and what level of user you are.

Vantagens:

Birdview (Avian Perspective as we affectionately call it) is fairly easy to use and is improving constantly. My favorite part of Birdview is the extensive learning suite that comes with it. If you need guidance, there are webinars and help sections, further supported by live Chat support. Most actions are easy to understand and follow. It is scalable and flexible adding to it's useability. There's many additional modules, we even use it for some of our Dev requests (forms in BV).

Desvantagens:

There is some frustration with the way Activity Est. Hours roll up to a Project total. Not sure if this is a setting issue on our end or just the way it's meant to be. We often set a total # of Est. Hours then break down the activities. It tends to Add any Activity hours to the Est total, instead of considering it part of that total. Again, this may be a setting our BV Admin may need to look at.

An easy, intuitive way of managing time and the team

Vantagens:

At our agency, we have many active projects and tasks under each project at any given time, and manage roughly 30 creatives assigned to those projects. Being able to easily bill and track time is super valuable, and the clean, simple interface makes that easier for everyone from the junior designer to the creative director.

Desvantagens:

Many on our creative team only use it to track time and find projects, and some views have so many options to click or select, it can be hard to find the most common uses for our team.

Birdview: The new way to manage your projects

Comentários: Since I use Birdview, I can say that you can have several projects, plans and resources in one place.

Vantagens:

I really like the organized way to have every single step of our projects.

Desvantagens:

If we have not used this platform before, it could be confused.

Great For Project Management

Vantagens:

It is easy to use and easy to understand. it keeps the team organized an prevents us from going over budget

Desvantagens:

I wish there was more customization options. They have the standard ones but with AI, I hope there is more innovation.

Great system to organize busy workload

Comentários: As a project manager of over 700 projects a year, this is an essential tool in prioritizing our workload. Our past system didn't allow us to shift dates, run reports, customize tasks that work for our team. Our organization has been using BV since 2017 and I couldn't imagine using another project management system.

Vantagens:

Birdview is a great way to organize our team and projects. This allows us to keep all communications in one place to track progress. It allows us to easily identify when a project gets off track. It's increased our productivity and communications.

Desvantagens:

There is nothing negative I can say about BV. I love that BV is always looking for input and ways to improve their system based on the ways their customers use the product.

Can't imagine work without it!

Vantagens:

At my organization, we often work on multiple projects simultaneously. Birdview makes it very easy to track progress across projects, view tasks for the day/week across all projects in one place, and easily navigate between projects using filters.

Desvantagens:

I haven't gotten much use out of the task progress or financial tracking features, I hope to in the next 6 months. Would love to see a timer feature like Toggl Track for this.

Birdview: Good not Great

Vantagens:

It's pretty straightforward and locked down which can be good or bad based on your prerogative.

Desvantagens:

It's not very customizable and it's definitely a better tool for other departments than ours (media)

Why to chose birdview

Comentários: Not great, but not bad as well, overall it's a good tool with all the essentials, could have a better visual design but that also might depend on how the company sets it up and uses it

Vantagens:

It's easy to find your task and project, it's a simple visual tool and easy to understand

Desvantagens:

could use somekind of task time tracking, it would be helpful to have something like a stopwatch assign to a task or something

What I like least about Birdview is that the initial setup can be a bit complex and may require a learning curve, especially for new users. Some advanced features feel a bit overwhelming at first, and customization options, while robust, can take time to fully utilize. Additionally, occasional lags in loading large projects or reports could impact workflow efficiency.

All projects in one place

Comentários: I do not have to move between several applications to advance in the creation of projects and my work is more organized having all the information in one place

Vantagens:

This platform makes performance more effective by having visibility of all projects in one place and seeing their progress in real time. It made me replace several applications because Birdview had everything I needed. It makes me focus all the information on the same platform, having a more effective exchange of knowledge with my work team.

Desvantagens:

I approve that the entire operation of Birdview is effective and of great value for performance and teamwork

Really Great Software

Comentários: Overall, this tool is exactly what we need. I love that it integrates with our other softwares seamlessly.

Vantagens:

Birdview is easy ti learn, and easy to collaborate on across teams. It is an integral part of our project management system.

Desvantagens:

We use Birdview primarily for Time Logs, and a change to UX recently made Time Logs harder to get to. That would be my main complaint.

EZ Projects

Comentários: I think it works pretty good to track all of my projects.

Vantagens:

Helps me to keep track of all of my projects and can store attached files.

Desvantagens:

does not track in real-time. It does not help me when looking at the timeline of my projects.

Birdview is a useful tool for time tracking and reporting.

Vantagens:

Ease of time tracking, ability to copy over tasks from week to week, different available views for reporting.

Desvantagens:

Sometimes tricky to navigate the user interface. I wish it was less redundant to add team members to a project each time.

Birdview Efficiency

Comentários: Birdview has been a great time management resource and gives me a great view of my weekly time usage.

Vantagens:

Birdview is user friendly and efficient. The ease of being able to repeat time each week and add new time categories makes Birdview a great option.

Desvantagens:

As year to year turns over, it can be somewhat cumbersome to exchange years in Birdview.

Vantagens:

The ability to have visibility over multiple projects at once, their status as well as individual task management.

Desvantagens:

The auto-change dates can be really useful with creating dependencies, but this isn't always helpful and can create quite a lot of manual amendments needed

Project Management Simplified

Vantagens:

very intuitive, easy to learn , track and document work. lot of options for reporting, calendar view is great. project planning is easy and with the help of gantt charts we can clearly see where are we at a project. integration with outlook is great as well.

Desvantagens:

nothing particular the admin setup is not straightforward but that's no big deal

A fast and effective tool for project management

Vantagens:

Enjoyed the ease of input of project information and the tracking elements.

Desvantagens:

Some areas could be more effectively designed for browser use especially the time log area.

Birdview for PM/Tasks

Vantagens:

Easy to use, customizable format that accommodates a wide variety of needs

Desvantagens:

Learning curve was steep; different from other products

Simple to use

Vantagens:

I really like the time tracking features and the enablement of carrying over repeatable tasks week after week. The resource management pages are also easy to see team allocations week over week.

Desvantagens:

I wish there was an easier way to remove time tracked that was accidentally entered into the wrong field.

Consultant (6 months to 1 year of use)

Comentários: Good value for money and customer support compensates for frequent updates to the UI

Vantagens:

Birdview has different ways to view the tasks . Rather than using My Assignments or Dashboard, it gives you options to view your workload the way it makes sense for you. Very easy to set up a project. The auto-create feature , in particular, is very heavily used Good value for the price. Customer support is really good.

Desvantagens:

The activity center BOARD view is not so useful for Agile teams. Reassigning priorities at any column (ie, moving a task to the top of the column) changes the task order within the waterfall project! Frequent updates might surprise you as you have to keep searching where they moved certain features

Birdview helps

Comentários: Our use of birdview has been going great and it really helps my team follow my prgres on my projects.

Vantagens:

I love the real time updates and the ability to track notes and document my progress.

Desvantagens:

The amount of information can be overwhelming.

A Easy to Use, Customizable Project Management Tool

Vantagens:

It is an easy way to stay organized and assign project tasks among our teams. Usage is fairly intuitive, and there are a lot of options to customize the product to your organization's specific needs.

Desvantagens:

I don't like that you can not search to find subtasks easily, which makes it difficult when referencing older project details.

Comentários: Overall experience with Bridview has been great. It is intuitive. Its Reporting features are excellent.

Vantagens:

Its ease of use. No one likes time recording/writing. Birdview makes it simple and easy to do. I also like the feature to rollover your time data every week.

Desvantagens:

To not be able sort the timesheet based on project/client.

Comentários: Expeience has been great, implementation was easy which made for a smooth transition. Very user friendly. Reporting options are plentiful.

Vantagens:

Birdview has been a great time tracking solution for us. Very easy to track time and updates

Desvantagens:

Experience has been wonderful so far, no complaints to report.
